Design & Construction of Improvement on Sultan Qaboos Street from Al Mawaleh Interchange
This is a prestigious & challenging project as the job is on the prime corridor of Muscat. The scope of work involves (1) extension of Al Mawaleh Interchange ramp joining Al Sultan Qaboos Street as a continuous fourth lane up to the exit for Burj A’ Sahwa Roundabout and (2) addition of fourth lane from the end of ramp joining the Al Sultan Qaboos Street from Burj A’Sahwa roundabout to the start of exit ramp of the Airport Interchange to Ghala and airport for a length of more than 4 Kms including improvements of all structures along the stretch and a construction of a new 14 cell box culvert spanning the full width of the dual carriageway. The project also involves pavement construction, Highway signing & Road marking, paving & curbing works, street lighting, storm water drainage works, public utility service diversion & protection and provisions for future service and concrete safety barriers & guard railing.
